Obituary of Antonio Acevedo

Altamont – Mr. Antonio Acevedo, 83, passed away at his home, Monday, July 24, 2017 with his family at his bedside.  He was born in Puerto Rico on June 12, 1934 to Steven Acevedo and Delphena Cabreras who preceded him in death along with his step-children, Freddy and Molly Martinez.

He was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife, Francis Acevedo; son, Antonio Acevedo, Florida; daughters, Yolanda and Ilucillia Acevedo; step-children, Gilbert and Rudy Reyes, Julia Reyes and Diana Martinez; 35 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews reside in Puerto Rico.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Little Johnny Myers Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
