Palmer - Mr. Hoyal David Parsons, 71, of the Pailo Community in Bledsoe County, died Saturday January 21, 2012. He was born in Palmer on June 10, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, loyd and Mildred Parsons; brother, George Parsons. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Parsons (Lamar Moreland); sons, David (Melissa), Brian (Melanie), John (Jessica), Andrew (Katie) and James Parsons; sister, Anne (Earl) Smith; brothers, Lloyd Parsons Jr. and half brother Jack Shadrick; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jeff Carr, Rita Yates and family. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. online condolances at laynefuneralhome.com
