Obituary of Mamie Kathleen Lecroy

Gruetli-Laager – Mrs. Mamie Kathleen LeCroy, 98, passed away early Thursday November 30, 2017, at the Erlanger Sequatchie Emergency Room in Dunlap, Tennessee. She was born in Tracy City on April 15, 1919 to Mark and Bell Layne who preceded her in death along with her husband, Samuel Duke LeCroy; son, Larry LeCroy; grandsons, Tim and Darin LeCroy; brothers, Joe and Frank Layne; sister, Pearl Morrison.

She had operated and worked in local restaurants and was a cook at the old Laager School.

She is survived by her son, Don (Brenda) LeCroy; daughters, Beverly K. LeCroy and Patricia Hornbuckle; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
