Obituary of Helen Marie Hampton

Altamont – Mrs. Helen Marie Hampton, 83, passed away Tuesday December 5, 2017 at the Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was born in Tracy City on May 5, 1934 to Robert Kelly and Eula Augusta Pickett Nunley who preceded her in death along with her son, Russell Hampton; sister, Julie Ann Nunley; brother, Clem Nunley; grandson, Mark Hampton; great granddaughter, Brook Lynn Hampton.

She was a member of the New Life Ministry Church.

She is survived by her sons, Mack (Cissy), Parker (Sandy), Tony (Dale) and Mitchel (Becky) Hampton; brother, Homer Nunley 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and her loving Church family.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Wayne Norris, Dwight Walker and Coy Gibbs officiating with burial to follow in the Airview Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
