Obituary of Ruby Lee Hill

Beersheba Springs – Mrs. Ruby Lee Hill, 75, passed away, Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the Lebanon Health and Rehab Center in Lebanon, Tennessee. She was born in Bidwell, Ohio on June 28, 1942 to Wayne and Mildred Westfall Bush who preceded her in death along with her infant son, Roger Lee Preston; husband, Charles D. “Big Don” Hill Sr.; sister. Rosemary Kneal; great grandson, Ezra James Caples.

She was a member of the Cumberland Baptist Church at Beersheba Springs.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie (Katrina) Preston; daughters, Jennifer (Jim) Baxter and Angela (Jerry) Powell; brother, Allen Bush; sisters. Doris Combs and Suzanne Bush; 8 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; step-children, Kathy (Allen) Griffith, Ricky (Diane) Hill and Charles D. Hill Jr.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday December 30, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Alton Scruggs officiating with burial to follow in the Schild Cemetery. Visitation: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
