Obituary of Martha Lee Smartt

GRUETLI-LAAGER - Martha Lee Smartt, 99, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 in Loveland, CO at her daughters home. She was born August 3, 1918 to Leck and Lou Davis Pickett who preceded her in death along with her husband, Louie H. Smartt; sons, Charles L. and Earl L. Smartt; daughter, Opal Loretta Layne. She is survived by her sons, Billy E. (Dottie), James A. (Kay), Tommy L. (Kris), Jeffery L. (Wanda) and Johnny M. (Debbie) Smartt; daughters, Judith A. (Bob) Pilley, Marsha F. Conte, Nadine (George) Lock; sisters, Kathleen Geary and Nellie Adams; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Raymond Borne officiating with burial to follow in the Swiss Colony Cemetery.
