Obituary of Betty Jean Bush

Palmer – Mrs. Betty Jean Bush, 86, passed away, Wednesday March 14, 2018 at her home with her family at her bedside.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on November 23, 1931 to Herschel Lee and Ruby Lee Gifford Finch who preceded her in death along with her sister, Boots Nunley; brother, Herschel Jr. Finch; father of her children, Johnnie Morgan Hill; husband of 35 years, Bill Bush; son-in-law, Billy Wade Taylor.

She was a member of the Palmer Church of God, The Grundy County Library Board, Middle Tennessee Child Abuse Team and the American Cancer Society.  She attended Edmunds Business College, Miami Dade Jr. College and West Palm Beach College. She was a Registerd Nurse at the Grundy County Health Department.  She also attended the Barkers Cove Community Church.

She is survived by her, son, Johnnie Michael Hill; daughter, Dr. Kim Taylor; granddaughter, Lori Beth Taylor; sisters, Anita Crabtree, Bonnie (Gene) Layne; brother, Larry Thomas (Murphy) Finch, Jacksonville, FL; several loving nieces and nephews.
