Obituary of Lindel Joseph Gibbs

Gruetli-Laager – Mr. Lindel Joseph Gibbs, 72, passed away early Tuesday April 10, 2018 at his home with his family at his bedside. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on June 3, 1945 to Johnny Dillard “Coy” Gibbs and June Borne Gibbs who preceded him in death along with his granddaughter, Deanna Rollins.

He was retired from Brock Candy Company in Chattanooga.

He is survived by his daughter, Bridget Caldwell (Dean Nunly); sons, Brian (Angie) Gibbs and Kevin (Shell) Gibbs; brother, Keith Gibbs; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Mack Hampton, C.J. Gibbs and Wayne Norris officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
