Obituary of Mary Katherine Doss

Palmer – Mrs. Mary Katherine Doss, 82, passed away Wednesday May 2, 2018 at her daughters home surrounded by her family and friends.  She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on December 25, 1935 to Byron and Mary Thompson King who preceded her in death along with her husband, Estel Homer Doss; son, Jeffery Allen Doss; great grandson, Hayden Edward Doss; sisters, Alveda King, Ethel Seals and Agnes Nunley; brothers, Buford Rollins, Hershel Rollins and Johnny B. King.

She attended Wesley Chapel Holiness Church.

She is survived by her Daughters, Faye (Casey) Layne, Cindy (Thomas) Anderson; sons, Ronnie L. (Donna) Doss and Brence “Chub” Doss; sister-in-law, Lois Doss; grandchildren, Bobbie, P.J., Shannon, Ronnie Mike, Hunter, Sophie, Katlin, Bretney, Kelsey “little girl”, Jared, Ethan and Little Paul Allen; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews and her Church family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Delbert Layne and Russell Layne officiating with burial to follow in the Griffiths Creek Cemetery.
