During my 30 years of picking up cans on the roads of Grundy County, Joe Turner and his wife, Mary, were among those who saved cans for me.
In recent years, Joe carried oxygen where ever he went, and until just 4 or 5 years ago, still grew a nice garden in that condition.
I salute him for his courage and send my sincere sympathy to his family and friends in their loss.
