Obituary of Elizabeth Fay Bivens

 Coalmont – Mrs. Elizabeth Fay Bivens, 69, passed away Wednesday June 20, 2018 at her home. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on January 7, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchel and Margaret Fay Knowlan Nance; husband, Charles Bivens; daughter, Faith Bivens.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Edward (Hassie) Bivens, Ottis Bivens, Eugene (Emma) Bivens and Tim (Annie Mae) Bivens; daughters, Sue (Ricky) Meeks and Hope (Chad) King; brother, Tim (Carol) Nance; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Stacy Smith and Jack Nance officiating with burial to follow in the Burketts Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
