My thoughts & prayers are with the family of John Wesley Jones whom I fondly knew as Archie. I received a call from Paula Sweeten Johnson today; Paula gave me the sad news that our dear friend has made his transition at an early age. Even though I have not seen or spoken to him since 1976; I have many fond memories of him and my days on "the mountain" where so many of us had rich experiences that later became the foundation of our lives to follow. He was always a good friend, loving & protective. I know he was delivered into the hands of the Heavenly Father and that he made a difference in this sometimes fragile world. Much love & continued blessings to Vicki & their 3 children. "Archie, tell Sammy Wild Wombee says hello"!

Dear Kristen, John Ross, Zach and Vickie, David and I are so sorry for the loss of Archie. The Bible tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and although we are supposed to rejoice when someone goes to be with the Lord, it is hard because we love them and will miss them. David and I have so many fond memories of the ball field times when our boys played together. And, Kristen, our time at Beacon of Hope together has meant alot to me. I am glad that I got to know you and love you there. I will be praying for you all. May the Lord lift you all up and comfort me. I hope that knowing how much you are all loved and thought of in this county will also comfort you. I am sorry that we are unable to attend the service. Much love to you all, Ellen and David
