GRUETLI-LAAGER - John Wesley "Archie" Jones, 59, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at his home. He was a coal miner working for Tennessee Consolidated Coal Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Jones, Sr. and Mable Kathleen Roberts Jones; infant brother, baby James; grandparents, Henry and Oda James Roberts, Bill and Mary Dyer Jones. He is survived by his daughter, Kristen (Mike) Kilgore; sons, John Ross (Lindsay) and Zachary Cole Jones; grandchildren, Chloe Ariana and Christian Cole Jones; half-brothers, Ricky and Willie Jones; step-sister, Vicki Parsons Sanders; mother of his children, Vicki Jones Dykes; several loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
