Agnes was my mother's, Bonnie Cagle Ridley's, first cousin. I met her for the first time in 2010 when I took my mother to visit her. She possessed a wealth of infomaion about the Cagle family, and was most likely the last person alive to remember my great-grandfather Nimrod Titus Cagle of Barker's Cove, her grandfather. I only wish I could have spoken to her again before she left us. Her reminiscences about the "old times" on the mountain were truly a treasure and are a great loss to all of us. She was a certainly extraordinary woman and will be greatly missed by her vast extended family.
