I was saddened to hear that Mr. Marcus Hill, Jr., of Beersheba Springs had passed away.
Several years ago I wrote a newspaper article for The Cumberland View about Mr. Hill's Navy experiences in World War II, and other aspects of his interesting life. It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable articles I've ever written.
My sincere sympathy to his family and friends in their loss.
